A Headstone for Hailey

Today we went to the memorial gardens to be there while they installed Hailey's headstone. It made me very happy to know that it was going to be in place by her first birthday celebration. We are very happy with the way it turned out. The only problem for me was that the bronze area almost seemed to be put on a little sideways so that the wording was slanted. The guy at the memorial gardens said they might be able to fix that for us. I really hope they can.

Putting the headstone in place.

Nathan and Aaron watching.

Nathan watching as they make sure it is level.

Filling around the edges with dirt.

The final product.
Aaron wrote the inscription under her name. It says,
"Holding you in our hearts until we hold you in our hands."

It is so perfect! I absolutely love it and the saying by Aaron is so touching. She is such a lucky girl to be a part of your family!

And let me just say, Melica, that you look AWESOME! You are seriously so beautiful and so thin. Congrats. You look great! We miss you guys!

Such a perfect headstone for a perfect little girl! You guys all look so wonderful! I was really touched by your testimony Sunday, and I am so glad that you shared it. I don't think you realize how many lives you have touched (and forever changed) with your strength and friendship! Thanks for being there for me even though it's me who should be there for you!!
