Hailey Elizabeth

Hailey joined our family on Nov. 20, 2009. She was a beautiful, healthy, amazing baby girl. We loved her and were so excited about her being a member of our family. Six days later, on Thanksgiving, we went to change her diaper and realized that her lips, hands, and feet were blue. We rushed her to the emergency room where the doctors and nurses worked on her tirelessly for about 6 hours before she passed away. We later found out that she had spinal meningitis caused by a staph aureus infection. Her spirit is so sweet and so pure and we know that her life on this earth was not meant to be long. We love her dearly and miss her terribly, but we know that we will be with her again one day and look forward to that reunion.
